I have continued to experiencing(imitating) with the texture of the leather, here's some examples.
Materials: Cardboard, paper and paint.

fabulous as always. the technique i have learnt to simulate leather use leather but we tear it into strips having said that i really like your method.:)

Lol .. yeah, I ordered one from your etsy store a while ago. It's the steampunk one that looks a lot like this, but that has a little leather tie going around it. It's great, fits in my pocket and is fantastic to scribble the little poetry zygotes that are always floating around in my head in. We're practically inseparable :D

To me it's more like a man-made fabric than leather but they still look impressive considering what you make them from.
